In residency, Navid has become a pillar of support for his colleagues. A member of the Clinical Health Education Track, he was elected Class Representative and Social Chair. Bio: Olivia is an academic high-achiever with a powerful story of perseverance. A first-generation high school graduate from a low socioeconomic background, she overcame significant barriers to graduate from the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her clinical and academic excellence was recognized by her induction into both the Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Additionally, she scored >250 on USMLE Step 2CK.

Her teaching experience is extensive, dating back to her undergraduate years. She has tutored a wide range of subjects, from statistics to high-stakes board exams (USMLE and COMLEX). Elijah Bingham, MD

During medical school, he was selected as an Anatomy Instructor for MS2-MS4 students. She successfully matched into a field where she had no home rotations, meaning she had to navigate the process without the safety net of in-house mentorship. Additionally, she made her specialty decision during her third year—later than many peers—and successfully navigated the Couples Match. Anvin Thomas, DO

Anvin possesses deep expertise in medical pedagogy. He was selected for the competitive Academic Medicine Scholar Program, where he taught and co-led over 60 hours of OMM, Clinical Skills, and Anatomy sessions. Beyond the classroom, he worked professionally for a medical test prep company, researching, writing, and editing USMLE Step 1 questions. This background allows him to break down complex material and individualize learning objectives for his mentees.

His commitment to service is equally impressive. As Vice President of the Global Health Organization, Anvin helped establish a food pantry initiative. He also volunteered at a student-run free clinic, providing forensic medical and psychological evaluations for asylum seekers—work that contributed to his induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

Beyond policy, Natalie is driven by tangible community service. Identifying a critical need among her peers, she successfully founded a student-run food pantry on campus and secured a recurring yearly stipend to ensure its longevity and impact.

With experience as a Teaching Assistant for Public Health courses in graduate school, she continued to teach in medical school as a TA for Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) and Clinical Skills labs. She is also dedicated to the pipeline of future physicians, having served as a “Mi Mentor” advisor for pre-medical students.

Tracie Huynh, MD

Nairi Rostomian, DO

Bio: Nairi defies the stereotype that DOs can’t match into competitive surggical sub-specialties. She compiled an impressive academic resume, ranking 2/432 in her class and scored a 250 on Step 1 and 251 on Step 2CK. She was also a Summa Cum Laude Graduate and inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

Nairi refused to compromise her identity to match. She turned her DO degree into a strength, not a weakness. Now, she helps other osteopathic students break into Opthalmology.

Divy Mehra, DO
