About the Course Developer:

Dr. Violetta Foss

This course was developed by the expert team at Matchpal Residency Advising—bringing together over 1,000 hours of COMLEX tutoring experience—in collaboration with one of our senior advisor, Dr. Violeta Foss.

Dr. Foss is a Family Medicine resident at Northwell Health Plainview Hospital and a graduate of NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM), where she also earned a Master of Science in Academic Medicine. At NYITCOM, she was selected for the highly competitive Academic Medicine Scholars Program, gaining advanced experience in teaching, research, and clinical leadership.

She was also honored with the Matthew K. Sommella, D.O. OMM Fellowship Award, recognizing her exceptional commitment to osteopathic principles and education.

Now at Northwell, Dr. Foss continues to shape medical education as an active member of both the Recruitment and Curriculum Committees, combining clinical excellence with a passion for mentorship and academic growth.
